A Summer Experience You’ll Never Forget!
An exciting one- or two-week experience for students who love to perform! The Intensives, taught by professional educators and performers, offer age-appropriate performing arts activities and end with a public performance.
The Intensives, will be held at the Beacon Middle School, conveniently located near the resort towns of Lewes & Rehoboth Beach, DE. They not only offer a secure, air-conditioned learning environment, but also the unique opportunity to combine a summer study program with a family vacation!
MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE (Grades 1-12)
Monday, June 21-Thursday, July 1, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Weekdays only)
The Musical Theatre Summer Intensive is an exciting two-week experience for students who love to perform. The Intensive builds self-confidence through challenging, but attainable, age-appropriate performing arts activities. Students, divided by age and ability-level, travel through classes in dance, acting, voice, playwriting, seminars, and rehearsals. The Arts Institute faculty guide the students to a spectacular public performance on the final day.
Tuition: $450.00 (Includes all instruction, materials, camp T-shirt and performance tickets.)
NEW! ACTING INTENSIVE (Grades 2-8)
Tuesday, July 6-Friday, July 9, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The Acting Summer Intensive is an exciting one-week program for students who are interested in a concentrated study of acting. Students spend the day using their imaginations to bring characters to life. Professional actors and educators lead 50-minute classes in body use, speaking, making good acting choices and how to work onstage with others. All activities lead to a final performance that showcases the students’ new acting skills.
Tuition: $200.00 (Includes all instruction, materials, camp T-shirt and performance tickets.)
